Jose Pineiro Holds More Than 25 Years of Experience in IT Consulting and Software Development

 

With more than 2.5 decades of experience, Jose Pineiro is an IT professional who has excellent knowledge of software application development and implementation, technological improvements, and operational efficiencies. He holds a bachelor degree in Computer Science. He has good understanding of Microsoft operating system and office tools such as Servers 2000-2012, Exchange Server, Windows Desk OS, Microsoft Power Point, Access, Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio and Project, mobile and cloud based devices and applications. In addition, he also specializes in top Microsoft software development technologies like Visual Studio 2003-2012, VB.Net, C#, XML, HTML, DHTML, ASP, Java script, J Query, VB Scripts, CSS, SQL Server 2000-2012, FoxPro, RPG and COBOL.

Jose has years of experience in project management of all phases of software development, and has comprehensive knowledge of system analysis and design. He has a long term relationship with The Apollo Group. Apollo is a privately owned company that is engaged in providing cruise and hotel related services. Its business line includes food and beverage services, housekeeping, warehousing logistics, marine staffing, etc. Jose Pineiro started his professional journey with The Apollo Group in 1988, and gradually he developed comprehensive understanding of system analysis, software development technologies, database designs, and project management.

Jose Pineiro joined The Apollo Group as a Software Developer, and was responsible for developing a new requisition system for cruise ships. The requisition project was finished in December 2012 following which he was promoted to IT Manager. This resulted in revising his responsibilities to development and implementation of a new HR system. He implemented new software technologies and led a team of developers. In 2004, the HR system implementation project was completed, which resulted in improving productivity and saving of the company. In the next year, he earned promotion to the Director of Information and Technology for all Apollo companies.
