Jose Pineiro is an expert Software Developer with years of experience. He holds a bachelor degree in the field of Computer Science. In 1984, he became a teacher in Garces College and taught students for 3 years. He has comprehensive professional knowledge of Microsoft operating system and office tools. This includes Windows Servers 2000-2012, Windows Desk OS, Office Access, Power Point, Excel, Word, and cloud based devices and applications. In addition to this, he possesses strong knowledge of Microsoft software development technologies for web and windows including, VB.Net, VB Script, FoxPro, XML, HTML, DHTML, ASP, J Query, CSS, and COBOL.
Jose Pineiro started working with The Apollo Group in 1988. He has experience of working with different companies of Apollo including, Discovery Cruise Line (1988 to 2010), Apollo Global Catering (2013 to present), Apollo Ship Chandlers (1988 to present), and Europe USA Travel (1988 to present). He started serving the Apollo Group as a Software Developer and had the responsibility of developing a new requisition system for cruise ships and the year 2000 “y2k” conversion. Then, he was promoted to IT Manager, and his role changed to developing and implementing a new HR system with the help of new technology.

In 2004 the HR system was fully implemented onboard the ship and shore side. This resulted in improved productivity and saved a crucial amount of money in labor, travel arrangements for the crew and freight charges. In 2005, Jose Pineiro was promoted as the Director of Information & Technology for all Apollo related companies and was assigned the responsibility of the development and maintenance of various software applications including, Order Processing and the HR system.
In his leisure time, he prefers to enjoy himself through different physical activities. It includes boating, fishing and scuba diving. Besides this, he likes to read books related to technology that provide him the information related to the recent updates in technology. This helps him in implying the best ideas to solve the challenges in his work.
