Jose Pineiro Is Serving With The Apollo Group For More Than 25 Years

Jose Pineiro is a proficient Software Developer with an experience of more than 25 years. He is a graduate in the field of Computer Science. In 1984, he became a teacher in Garces College and taught students for 3 years. In 1988, he joined The Apollo Group where he served different companies of Apollo, including, Discovery Cruise Line (1988 to 2010), Apollo Global Catering (2013 to present), Apollo Ship Chandlers (1988 to present), and Europe USA Travel (1988 to present).

In 1988, he joined The Apollo Group as a Software Developer. He is a diligent employee and has completed the requisition project and the year 2000 “Y2K” conversion. With his dedicated efforts, he contributed to the growth and success of the organization by leading and managing all technology initiatives for Apollo Group (a small dynamic operation but very complex in terms of logistics). In 2005, he was promoted as Director of Information & Technology, and this was the key position to streamline processes and improve efficiencies. He performed his best and after years of hard work, he gained respect among his team.

Jose Pineiro has extensive experience in software development using Microsoft Web and Windows technologies tailored for the cruise industry. He also has expertise in Microsoft operating system and office tools consisting of, Windows Server 2000-2012, Windows Desk OS, Exchange Server, Office Access, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Vision and Project, mobile and cloud based devices and applications.

Besides his professional work, Jose Pineiro gives importance to his health. To stay fit and healthy, he goes for jogging on a daily basis. In addition to this, he likes to enjoy himself by getting involved in different activities including, boating, fishing and scuba diving. In his leisure time, he likes to read books related to technology that provide him the information related to the recent updates in technology.
